PaisanoS 132 Park Ave. Rutherford, NJ 07070 Appearance: 8.2/10 Taste: 9.5/10 The cutlets were pounded thin. The edges are slightly crispy. There was a perfect ratio of mozzarella cheese and homemade tomato sauce. Although the mozzarella cheese didn’t have a golden char, the sweetness of the sauce made up for it. The service was phenomenal. Server Freddy and server assistants Juliette & Alan kept my water glass filled and they made me feel right at home. Everything here was beyond wonderful! We ordered the Spaghetti (housemade) Carbonara (the real way - no cream), stuffed Pork Chop, and Espresso Short Ribs! Decor was beautiful. The service was top-notch (great job Gio!)! Run, don't walk, to Paisano's!

Thank you to the entire staff at Paisano's for making my son & future bride's engagement reception a total success. Special thanks to Steven as well as Julia and Freddy. The going got tough at specific times re: unexpected changes, yet Steven found solutions with the team with pure grace, empathy & professionalism. We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant and will return. Only went there because we had to attend something in the area but are very happy we found this place. The staff were alway smiling and friendly and my server Itzel was top notch. Food was excellent and my margaritas were some of the best I've had and I order them everywhere! Looking forward to returning all the way from Parsippany again. Great job Paisanos! You guys proved yourself on every level.

We had the most fabulous dinner here. The food was amazing! - you can see in pics. We had the fancy steak and the eggplant caserole. omg the eggplant was absolutely outstanding - not too cheesy and super flavorful! Steak was cooked to perfection! Service was fantastic and the vibe was everything. We weren’t rushed at all and enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much for making us happy we left the house (lol.. too often we think we would have been better off staying home but thankfully you totally proved us wrong!)

Valentine’s Day dinner here was exceptional. Every plate was flavorful and comforting and the portion sizes were perfect. The sourdough bread and fried calamari make for a great appetizer and the lava cake literally melts in your mouth. Absolutely worth the visit!

This was my first time here. My dinner companions are frequent eaters here. We had a reservation for 7 pm but were not seated for more than 30 minutes. It like a long time to wait for them to sit me 30 minutes later in a section that they weren’t using when I arrived. It was very busy and we had to flag down our waiter to put in our order. It had been a while. The food was delicious. Tasted fresh and well made. I had no complaints on my eggplant and veal. My husband had the seafood pasta and he said it was very good. My complains had the braised rib- they said it was delicious but that the portion was smaller than the last time they were there. Overall I would come here again because the food was excellent.

Shoutout to “Juliet” who flipped the table from the minus point to 10 out of 10. At first after we sat down for 15 minutes no one was coming to greet, talk or take an order and we almost left the restaurant until “Juliet” started her shift and came right away to our table. We told her about the situation and she apologized immediately which was not her fault at all. to be honest because of her so we decided to stay and ended up having early dinner here. Now talking about the food everything we ordered was excellent calamari, mussels, stuffed eggplant, oxtail ragu and stake or even the breads 10/10 I’ll definitely be back! Again thanks to “Juliet” who made our dinner way better than we expected. (For the management team make sure the service is always on point and the first impression is very important if it’s not a good start it’s not gonna be a good experience for customers)
